GLASS ATTACK 2

Here's the second 'glass shard' piece. This time I added some little pieces of my broken gazing globe. It's an irridescent blue/green and a much thinner glass...wonder what that will do? I love doing things I've never done before! Should be fired on Tuesday.
Now I've got my own reflection in the picture...there must be a way ...

Wow, I can't wait to see the finished piece!! I love the shape so far. I've always wanted to work with glass, looks like fun.

I can't wait to see how these turn out, Doris! This is all new to me - will they melt? weld? stay the same? Very exciting!

Sandy and Lisa, Thanks for the comments. I, too, don't know what to expect but am excited to see what will happen. I am told that the temperature that will be used will be one beyond that which will make the glass 'slump' but not enough to make it 'melt'. It should fuse it together and maybe soften the edges..Tuesday is the day.
